How have they changed?

While I worked there, T-Mobile added five corporate holidays:

  • Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
  • Juneteenth (June 19th)
  • Veterans Day
  • Two (2) floating holidays

The floating holidays are “use it or lose it” so it generally makes sense to take them before year end.

Title: 'MONEY & FREEDOM' in the upper-right. Below is says: 'MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR. DAY', also in white font. The background is an American flag draped against a dark wall.

Added MLK Day

Unfortunately, less than half of American companies observe Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

I was so thankful when T-Mobile added it as a paid holiday!

The worst part wasn’t using a day of Paid Time Off (PTO). It was having a “get behind day.” Work piled up when everyone else worked.

Hey, thanks for reading my take on T-Mobile’s holidays.

As a reminder, I share a lot of resources that can help you.
